The Road to Serampore College for M.Th studies

The sun was scorching and rude, touching 44 degrees when we left Delhi. We loaded our luggage at New Delhi Railway Station, and bid farewell to all our friends who came to drop us. As we started off the journey, we feel really good traveling in Second Class AC, but unfortunately our enjoyment did not last long, as there was heavy rainfall in Howrah station. The water was all around the places-road were flooded, the coolies and taxi driver charges for extra money. Our driver was rude, arrogant and wanted to showoff that he was a good driver and ended up by banging his car with a tempo coming from the opposite direction. His heart burns with fire and curses the driver untill we reach Serampore. When we reach the college, nobody was there to help us, so my pregnant wife has to wait almost an hour as I hunt for some staff members who could guide us to our allotted quarter. The warden was like a man on a ship without knowing where the ship would be sailing. A bald man in his 80s came and open the door for us. It was almost dark when a Samaritan woman came down from the top floor to help us-clean the room and even invited us for dinner. This is our first experience as we enter a new chapter of our lives. God is still faithful, He will let you walk in a bad roads, not to stumble but teach how to walk.
